Need help with maths, physics or chemistry up to A-level, or most subjects to GCSE?

Whilst I am not a qualified teacher, I've been tutoring maths and physics since my postgraduate year at Manchester University in 2003. Since then I worked in science communication both in schools and museums, travelled the world exploring different learning methods, and coordinated large scale events bringing schools, universities and companies to showcase the long-term benefits of a background in Science and Maths.
Through 2020 and 2021 my tutoring has necessarily moved online, and so I am now available to tutor via Zoom.
Testimonials:
I’ve known David since 2013; he was my son’s mathematics tutor and provided tuition on a weekly basis in our home until June 2014 when my son sat his GCSE exams. He was predicted a Grade D in maths and thanks to David’s tuition achieved a B Grade. David is charming, enthusiastic, engaging and completely trustworthy. He is an excellent tutor who builds rapport with his students from the outset and keeps parents informed of progress. I have no hesitation in recommending David for any tuition roles.
Finding David was a Physics life saver for my son. A mock result in his A2 year predicted an E at best. My son had taken A level Physics following an A at GCSE and a natural enjoyment and love of the subject. With David's help my sons grade went to a C. Even more miraculous was the fact that this occurred within two months. We can only wonder at what could have happened if we had found David earlier. But it’s all about the grades!
As a tutor David is very motivated, committed and reliable. He has an engaging manner, a sense of humour and is well organised. His knowledge of Physics had breadth and depth and his familiarity of the exam requirements meant my son was well prepared through past papers and subject knowledge.
I cannot recommend David as a Physics tutor highly enough. If you have found him then breathe a sigh of relief!
I just wanted to send you a quick email to say what a fabulous tutor David Ault has been for Laura. Punctual, flexible, polite and very knowledgeable and not a bad actor too. Laura enjoyed working with him and found his teaching methods easy to follow and understand. She also said he was very patient and encouraging. I would certainly recommend him to others and if Laura needs any further help we will certainly be back in touch.
Qualifications:
